My background can be broadly divided into research on infectious livestock diseases, field-based veterinary epidemiology, and hands-on development project implementation.

I am currently the programme manager for a World Bank-funded programme to establish a 'One Health' Masters-level training programme at the EpiCentre, Massey University, New Zealand. This primarily involves coordination of a team of epidemiologists to develop course content and materials; establishment of the online learning management system and tools; and other tasks related to organisation, management and administration.

I also perform applied research. Links to papers, presentations and other outputs can be accessed from the pages on this website.
