Software

The EpiSystems Group is a software development and support team specialising in the development of technical software for the agricultural sector. The group is housed within the EpiCentre, which itself is part of the Institute of Veterinary, Animal & Biomedical Sciences, Massey University.

The EpiSystems group employs software developers, a group manager and a software tester. Additional staff are contracted when required. Development staff have expertise in a range of environments including; Visual Basic, Access, Delphi, C++, and SQL Server. Development is carried out in the Windows, Unix and Palm operating systems.

The group follows structured software development principles for requirements analysis, system/program design, implementation and testing to ensure that products meet user and client needs.
